The supporters of Ancona booed when Luponero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Ascani didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Achille Molinaro in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrico De Bartolo saved Ancona from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Ancona's zone, Ignaz Ecke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrico De Bartolo came out of the goal and Ignaz Ecke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ancona's Enrico De Bartolo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achille Molinaro in the 15th minute of play. Enrico De Bartolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignaz Ecke in the 17th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Achille Molinaro sped through Ancona's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Enrico De Bartolo. Donato Contaldi charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Contaldi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Luponero FC a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Achille Molinaro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ancona's Enrico De Bartolo. 0-4. Enrico De Bartolo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Achille Molinaro's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 43rd minute, Ignaz Ecke made a precise shot to the right of Enrico De Bartolo. Ancona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After the first half Luponero FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Ancona's Edoardo Crisantemo got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Achille Molinaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrico De Bartolo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Ignaz Ecke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luponero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignaz Ecke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrico De Bartolo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luponero FC's Amedeo Palumbo was substituted for Amerigo Oddi. Achille Molinaro struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Enrico De Bartolo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luponero FC. When the final whistle sounded Luponero FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ancona.
