The supporters of Giaguari Reali booed when Santa Nicola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Giusto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elia Rosetta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Zangari, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Amedeo Di Rado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elia Rosetta was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Santa Nicola's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Zangari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elia Rosetta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amedeo Di Rado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Elia Rosetta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Santa Nicola getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ernesto Taranto hit a great ball.
