Alfonso Giovannelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Doris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Giovannelli ran back to his position shaking his head. Ancap Team's Emilio Doris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Giovannelli in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Ancap Team's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Buffone came free, but Emilio Doris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When LATIUM's Alfonso Giovannelli in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Ancap Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilio Doris should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Alfonso Giovannelli notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Ancap Team's Emilio Doris. Emilio Doris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emilio Doris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfonso Giovannelli's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Giovannelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Doris was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The wind increased when Filippo Nardone made the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Ancap Team's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aurelio Oriali fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 66 minutes into the game, LATIUM's Alfonso Giovannelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Doris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. If Aurelio Oriali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 71 minutes, Beppe Cangiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ancap Team and the LATIUM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emilio Doris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonso Giovannelli in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Giovannelli in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilio Doris saved Ancap Team from getting behind. When LATIUM's Alfonso Giovannelli in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Ancap Team's zone, Aurelio Oriali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Doris came out of the goal and Aurelio Oriali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The LATIUM fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when LATIUM's Alfonso Giovannelli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-14 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alvaro Scarcella lost his temper 87 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Ancap Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LATIUM:s goal. The supporters of LATIUM booed when Ancap Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Damiani didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Giovannelli got free with Emilio Doris in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emilio Doris stood somewhat misplaced when Alfonso Giovannelli came free in front of goal and shot 0-16 to the left of him in the 95 minute. When the final whistle sounded LATIUM left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ancap Team.
