After a rather tough play, Santa Nicola's Amedeo Di Rado got a free kick in the 13th minute. Bruno Zangari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Doris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Zangari, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A collision led to Santa Nicola getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Anselmo Spitaleri hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Anselmo Spitaleri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dino Macchia kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Ancap Team booed when Santa Nicola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Taranto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Anselmo Serantoni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ancap Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Nicola the free kick. After 33 played minutes Ancap Team got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Serantoni. Bruno Zangari, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Filippo Nardone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Rocchetti having to interfere. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bruno Zangari made the kick off in the second half. Santa Nicola's Amedeo Di Rado got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 53 minutes, Amedeo Di Rado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Nicola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amedeo Di Rado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Zangari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Emilio Doris made a huge save. Ancap Team's Emilio Doris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Ancap Team from getting a goal against them. If Alberigo Giusto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Bruno Zangari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilio Doris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Filippo Nardone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Zangari struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Emilio Doris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Nicola. Amedeo Di Rado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Emilio Doris made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Bruno Zangari got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bruno Zangari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 played minutes Ancap Team got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Scarcella. In the 85th match minute, Santa Nicola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberigo Giusto to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Nicola's goalkeeper Elia Rocchetti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 89 played minutes Ancap Team got a freekick which was hit by Beppe Cangiano. When the match was over Santa Nicola could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ancap Team throughout the match.
