Real Bisalta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amerigo Castellani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Stazzema's goalkeeper Felice Alfonsi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Iacomini. After some careless play in the Stazzema defense, Cristiano Iacomini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felice Alfonsi. The Stazzema fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felice Alfonsi should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Felice Alfonsi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Tolino in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felice Alfonsi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Christian Tolino sped through Stazzema's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Felice Alfonsi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Castellani in the 36th minute of play forced Real Bisalta's goalkeeper Ruud Hesp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruud Hesp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amerigo Castellani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Real Bisalta's Claudio Ascoli got a free kick in the 39th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Stazzema's Jorge Baptista tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Real Bisalta got a freekick which was hit by Alex Guadagnoli. Bernt Danielsson kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Stazzema's Felice Alfonsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Tolino in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Iacomini to make the kick off. When Real Bisalta's Cristiano Iacomini in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stazzema's goalie prevented a goal. Stazzema's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Amedeo Verna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ruud Hesp came out and tried to block the shot, but Amedeo Verna slotted it home off the left post making it 6-2 in the 88th minute. Real Bisalta's Ruud Hesp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Real Bisalta from getting a goal against them. Many of Stazzema's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Stazzema may have spent more time on the ball, but Real Bisalta were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
