Spectators: 7969 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1810, VIP seats: 159) Alessandro Spiazzi made the kick off and thus started the match. Cosimo Mandelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 6th play minutes Luciano Lluques shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Camillo De Leonardis and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 10th minute Fortunato Zola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camillo De Leonardis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camillo De Leonardis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Camillo De Leonardis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Lluques's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute Flavio Marconi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Morini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristoforo Morini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Spiazzi in the 28th minute of play. Cristoforo Morini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Spiazzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Matey Matakiev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camillo De Leonardis. Semantra AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matey Matakiev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Semantra AC's Alessandro Spiazzi in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosenborg's goalie prevented a goal. In the 40th minute, Rosenborg's Matey Matakiev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. After a rather tough play, Semantra AC's Ennio Calcio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Rosenborg's Luciano Lluques ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Camillo De Leonardis. Camillo De Leonardis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. In the 47th minute, Flavio Marconi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristoforo Morini was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

After having played for 64 minutes, Augusto Di Bartolo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Semantra AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Di Bartolo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Augusto Di Bartolo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the game, Rosenborg's Luciano Lluques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camillo De Leonardis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Lluques in the 73rd minute of play forced Semantra AC's goalkeeper Camillo De Leonardis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th match minute, Semantra AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Di Bartolo to maneuver through the defense. Camillo De Leonardis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Narbut in the 76th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Wiktor Narbut had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camillo De Leonardis. Semantra AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wiktor Narbut was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Rosenborg's Daniele Ramundo was substituted for Luciano Lluques. Rosenborg's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
