The tension between the Monkey D.Luffy and the VERDENA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Monkey D.Luffy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Onur Candar to maneuver through the defense. Mohamed Hanin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Camillo Ruggieri skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Camillo Ruggieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Raiola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Amerigo Locatelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camillo Ruggieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Bulkiewicz in the 10th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Camillo Ruggieri successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Monkey D.Luffy getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Fortunato Ali hit a great ball. With a little luck, Monkey D.Luffy's Camillo Ruggieri got control of the ball when Amerigo Locatelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mohamed Hanin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Camillo Ruggieri firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohamed Hanin got free with Camillo Ruggieri in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amerigo Locatellis short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Camillo Ruggieri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Amerigo Locatelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camillo Ruggieri was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Enzo Bolognesi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arrigo Cino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohamed Hanin kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Amerigo Locatelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 46 played minutes VERDENA FC got a freekick which was hit by Amos Petrucci.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arrigo Cino to make the kick off. Monkey D.Luffy's Alberto Iacobucci got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ennio Colombi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Bolognesi having to interfere. Arrigo Cino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Bolognesi having to make a save. VERDENA FC's Enzo Bolognesi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save VERDENA FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of VERDENA FC booed when Monkey D.Luffy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fortunato Ali didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camillo Ruggieri had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Amos Petrucci's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Monkey D.Luffy defense, Amos Petrucci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camillo Ruggieri. The Monkey D.Luffy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camillo Ruggieri should have stopped the shot. Camillo Ruggieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Raiola in the 66th minute of play. Monkey D.Luffy's Camillo Ruggieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Locatelli in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute Alberto Raiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camillo Ruggieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Monkey D.Luffy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! Camillo Ruggieri had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Amos Petrucci's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Monkey D.Luffy's Camillo Ruggieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Hanin in the 79th minute of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Alberto Raiola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monkey D.Luffy's Camillo Ruggieri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. VERDENA FC's Amerigo Locatelli managed to work through Monkey D.Luffy's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Amerigo Locatelli dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Camillo Ruggieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amerigo Locatelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Monkey D.Luffy's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Raiola came free, but Camillo Ruggieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Monkey D.Luffy's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Bulkiewicz came free, but Camillo Ruggieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amerigo Locatelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. VERDENA FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
