Donato Russi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Petricca in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Jonathan-Nahuel Akansel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Demetrio Scibilia, passed just outside the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kuuno Kadajas during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
