Seating: 1851, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fedele Di Lorenzo started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, japanium's goalkeeper Severino Meira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fedele Di Lorenzo. Carlo Maggi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Marco van Bommel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Carlo Maggi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Torino FC's Marco van Bommel. Marco van Bommel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marco van Bommel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Di Natale in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Maggi in the 14th minute of play forced Torino FC's goalkeeper Marco van Bommel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco van Bommel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edoardo Ferrante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco van Bommel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edoardo Ferrante went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Azzolina got free with Severino Meira in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marco van Bommel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Treglia in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Carter Busillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, japanium's Edoardo Ferrante got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Fabrizio Fini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the game, japanium's Carlo Maggi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco van Bommel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 35 minutes into the match, Torino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Maggi came free, but Marco van Bommel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 played minutes Torino FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Fini. When Edmondo Camerlengo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the japanium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmondo Camerlengo couldn't finish the play. japanium's Alexander Treglia got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlo Maggi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Carlo Maggi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco van Bommel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Treglia got free with Marco van Bommel in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, japanium's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Azzolina came free, but Severino Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Maggi in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco van Bommel saved Torino FC from getting behind. In the 76th minute Enzo Azzolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When japanium's Carlo Maggi in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Torino FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the japanium defense, Carter Busillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severino Meira. The japanium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino Meira should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Fausto Di Natale took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Marco van Bommel to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. japanium had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
