The Naplesi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anselmo Albanesi should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, He Xu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anselmo Albanesi. Naplesi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that He Xu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arrigo Carozza during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Naplesi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Carozza to maneuver through the defense. Robert Billock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Albanesi having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Real Murçia FC's Gilberto Carretero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Naplesi FC's Anselmo Albanesi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Carretero in the 60th minute of play. Gilberto Carretero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Anselmo Albanesi made a huge save. Naplesi FC's Anselmo Albanesi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Naplesi FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Real Murçia FC booed when Naplesi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Di Giulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real Murçia FC played a much better game than Naplesi FC and deserved their victory. The Naplesi FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
