Filippo Di Francos short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Bernardo Manzo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Filippo Di Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Filippo Di Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.S. Trastevere's supporters rose to their feet, but Filippo Di Franco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Manzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Er Mewing Fc's Bernardo Manzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Di Pasquale in the 40th minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Filippo Di Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.S. Trastevere's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filippo Di Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Er Mewing Fc's Bernardo Manzo got control of the ball when Filippo Di Franco tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filippo Di Franco got free with Bernardo Manzo in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Penna in the 47th minute of play forced A.S. Trastevere's goalkeeper Corrado Biscotti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filippo Di Franco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes A.S. Trastevere got a freekick which was hit by Filippo Di Franco. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Marcin Konieczny managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.S. Trastevere's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcin Konieczny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Manzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute, Filippo Di Franco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.S. Trastevere fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Filippo Di Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Marcin Konieczny made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Manzo. Er Mewing Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Bernardo Manzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filippo Di Franco in the 68th minute of play. Bernardo Manzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice Raiola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Filippo Di Franco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Manzo was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 92nd minute Filippo Di Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Manzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Er Mewing Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Liberti came free, but Bernardo Manzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that A.S. Trastevere were the better team. A.S. Trastevere's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
