With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giuseppe Basso in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Cristofari saved F.C SAN LORENZO from getting behind. In the 7th minute Aurelio Corvo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Cristofari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Cristofari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo De Tommasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Armando Marchesani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldo Cristofari was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Aurelio Corvo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carter Profeta kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Aurelio Corvo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Herberia Herons fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Herberia Herons's Cristoforo De Tommasi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giuseppe Basso in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aldo Cristofari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Fausto Muzzolon fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C SAN LORENZO's protests and gave Fausto Muzzolon a yellow card for diving instead. 36 minutes into the match, F.C SAN LORENZO's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe Basso came free, but Aldo Cristofari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Cristofari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Corvo in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Cristoforo De Tommasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Cristofari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes F.C SAN LORENZO got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Bottone. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giuseppe Basso to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Herberia Herons's Aurelio Corvo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aldo Cristofari. Aldo Cristofari yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. 56 minutes into the match, F.C SAN LORENZO's goalkeeper Aldo Cristofari had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giuseppe Basso. A collision led to F.C SAN LORENZO getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ciro Di Iorio hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristoforo De Tommasi got free with Aldo Cristofari in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute, Aurelio Corvo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aldo Cristofari. The goal made the score 0-6. Aurelio Corvo scored 0-7 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aldo Cristofari, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th match minute, F.C SAN LORENZO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Bottone to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the F.C SAN LORENZO defense, Cristoforo De Tommasi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Cristofari. The F.C SAN LORENZO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Cristofari should have stopped the shot. Cristoforo De Tommasi took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aldo Cristofari. Aldo Cristofari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Cristoforo De Tommasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Cristofari having to interfere. Giuseppe Basso might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aldo Cristofari. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giuseppe Basso ran back to his position shaking his head. When Herberia Herons's Giuseppe Basso in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C SAN LORENZO's goalie prevented a goal. If Giuseppe Basso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
