Donato Mara took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florian Coscia. Florian Coscia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Florian Coscia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Maccarone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute of the match Bernardo Iezzi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florian Coscia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ferruccio Simeoni scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florian Coscia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eugenio Franceschelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Danza, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Eugenio Franceschelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberigo Saturno in the 20th minute. Florian Coscia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Zarillo in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the PARMA defense, Francesco Zarillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florian Coscia. The PARMA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florian Coscia should have stopped the shot. Florian Coscia came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Brembols's Federico Maccarone. But to his dismay, Federico Maccarone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The supporters of PARMA booed when Brembols was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Rocchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Danza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eugenio Franceschelli came out and tried to block the shot, but Dino Danza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 40th minute. A collision led to PARMA getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ercole Catena hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the game, Ferruccio Simeoni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Florian Coscia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Brembols were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dino Danza to make the kick off. Florian Coscia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Zarillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Brembols booed when PARMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Saturno didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dino Danza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PARMA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brembols the free kick. Ercole Catena hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Dino Danza sped through Brembols's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eugenio Franceschelli. Florian Crosta hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Ferruccio Simeoni hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Alberigo Saturno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PARMA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5. In the 84th minute of the match Brembols got a corner. PARMA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teofilo Santana ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Ermanno Moreschi at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of PARMA. 3-6. In the 87th minute, Dino Danza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Franceschelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-6. Florian Crosta hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
