The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Cristoforo De Tommasi put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alessandro Farina. Alessandro Farina was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Aurelio Corvo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aurelio Corvo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Aurelio Corvo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alessandro Farina. That made the score 4-0 in the 21 minute of play. Eugenio Ruggieri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuele Carnevale made a kick off. Alessandro Farina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugenio Gallo went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Cristoforo De Tommasi might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alessandro Farina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristoforo De Tommasi ran back to his position shaking his head. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Rocco AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Armando Marchesani was slow to take the kick. During this time Herberia Herons's players had a chance to rest. Alessandro Farina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo De Tommasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 63 minutes into the game, Herberia Herons's Cristoforo De Tommasi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alessandro Farina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. In the 67th minute Giuseppe Basso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Farina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 minutes of play, Herberia Herons's Cristoforo De Tommasi made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Farina was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, San Rocco AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Strano came free, but Alessandro Farina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Emanuele Carnevale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. San Rocco AFC's Alessandro Farina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Basso in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, San Rocco AFC's Emanuele Carnevale got a free kick in the 90th minute. Alessandro Farina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Marchesani in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Corvo in the 95th minute of play forced San Rocco AFC's goalkeeper Alessandro Farina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Farina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristoforo De Tommasi went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 15-0 was the resulting score.
