After having played for 16 minutes, Bianco Pan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vicenza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bianco Pan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicenza's Alberto Como couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. Soulis Vaggelis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Soulis Vaggelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Cara, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Alberto Como kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Cesare Liberati came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Vicenza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesare Liberati couldn't finish the play. Soulis Vaggelis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 64th minute of the match, Alvise Ursini got a very nice opportunity to score, but Soulis Vaggelis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alfredo Cara charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Cara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Soulis Vaggelis made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Alfredo Cara sent off a good shot on target. If Cesare Liberati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vicenza's Alfredo Cara got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Alfredo Cara off the ground. The supporters of Pescara Calcio booed when Vicenza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Cara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriano Federici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordache Chiuzbaian in the 96th minute of the match. Vicenza's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
