Ceresāo's Emanuele Aversano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Gabriele in the 17th minute of play. Changeez Zeballos scored 1-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Comunardo Croce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Giorda hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Cristiano Gabriele managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. pescarazemania's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Gabriele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee ignored Ceresāo's protests and gave Diego Semeno a yellow card for diving instead. Aldo Di Marzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Aversano having to interfere. In the 44th minute Changeez Zeballos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Croce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, pescarazemania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Pugliese to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the game, Ceresāo's Ronny Eliasson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Comunardo Croce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the game, Alexander Miccio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ceresāo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave pescarazemania the free kick. In the 64th minute, Aldo Di Marzio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Changeez Zeballos in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Comunardo Croce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Changeez Zeballos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Changeez Zeballos put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Comunardo Croce. 95 minutes into the match, Bruno Giorda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Comunardo Croce. pescarazemania's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Giorda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.
