Eraldo Verdini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Di Natale having to interfere. Florian Muzzatti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8thth minute of the game Eraldo Verdini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC SPORTING GENZANO's Ermanno Di Natale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Muppet FC's Eraldo Verdini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermanno Di Natale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Valeriani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC SPORTING GENZANO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Muppet FC the free kick. A collision led to FC SPORTING GENZANO getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Anfilogino Valeriani hit a great ball. In the 14th minute of the match Dario Latini sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ermanno Di Natale skillfully saved the ball. Florian Muzzatti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Amerigo Juliano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 22 minutes, Florian Muzzatti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muppet FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Muzzatti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Anfilogino Valeriani was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 23 minutes had been played. Anfilogino Valeriani kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Ermanno Di Natale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eraldo Verdini in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Muzzatti in the 25th minute of play forced FC SPORTING GENZANO's goalkeeper Ermanno Di Natale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Florian Muzzatti got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 32nd minute, Anfilogino Cilli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eraldo Verdini scored 1-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermanno Di Natale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabio Barberio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th match minute, Muppet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Muzzatti to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st match minute, FC SPORTING GENZANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Cavallucci to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eraldo Verdini made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Florian Muzzatti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muppet FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC SPORTING GENZANO the free kick. A collision led to Muppet FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Florian Muzzatti hit a great ball. Felice Coccolone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Del Monte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eraldo Verdini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Di Natale having to interfere. After 69 minutes, Davide Lucidi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC SPORTING GENZANO and the Muppet FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Davide Lucidi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eraldo Verdini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the FC SPORTING GENZANO defense, Eraldo Verdini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermanno Di Natale. The FC SPORTING GENZANO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermanno Di Natale should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, FC SPORTING GENZANO's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Muzzatti came free, but Ermanno Di Natale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florian Muzzatti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Barberio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felice Coccolone having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Muppet FC's Pello Clemente got a free kick in the 93rd minute. FC SPORTING GENZANO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
