Luciano Boniel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Fausto Di Giambattista made a huge save. After 18 minutes, Niall May mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DESTROYER and the Biancanigo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 27 minutes, Ferruccio Valerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DESTROYER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferruccio Valerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Di Giambattista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arrigo Corvi's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Biancanigo FC were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after DESTROYER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jose Jaunti took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jose Jaunti got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fausto Di Giambattista quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 31 played minutes DESTROYER got a freekick which was hit by Ciccio Alessandro. 32 minutes into the match, DESTROYER's goalkeeper Fausto Di Giambattista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arrigo Corvi. The supporters of Biancanigo FC booed when DESTROYER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Telo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Telo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Biancanigo FC's Flavio Caruso got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 59th minute Jose Jaunti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Di Giambattista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Di Giambattista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Boniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferruccio Valerio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amerigo Staniscia. That made the score 1-2 in the 63 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Baresi in the 66th minute of play forced Biancanigo FC's goalkeeper Amerigo Staniscia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Anselmo Baresi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amerigo Staniscia. Biancanigo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Baresi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Jose Jaunti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Di Giambattista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Corvi in the 73rd minute of play. After 80 minutes, Cisco Morata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Biancanigo FC and the DESTROYER players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Biancanigo FC got a freekick which was hit by Cisco Morata. If Anselmo Baresi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niall May hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Arrigo Corvi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fausto Di Giambattista was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
