In the 19th minute of the match Lemi Şikel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amos Lucentini skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Porto Maurizio's Franco Ramundo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Cristiano Rainaldi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Gianluca Pagliuca made a huge save. In the 25th minute, Fulvio Molinario made a precise shot to the right of Amos Lucentini. Santa Marinella's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrea Gambini made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Andrea Gambini put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Amos Lucentini. In the 73rd minute, Titan Derman made a precise shot to the right of Amos Lucentini. Santa Marinella's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liu Ming Jian in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amos Lucentini saved Santa Marinella from getting behind. Amos Lucentini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Ramundo in the 81st minute of play. Amos Lucentini was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Andrea Gambini capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andrea Gambini really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. Demetrio De Angelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Gianluca Pagliuca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santa Marinella's Amos Lucentini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Santa Marinella from getting a goal against them. Amos Lucentini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liu Ming Jian in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Porto Maurizio left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Santa Marinella.
