Porto Maurizio's Lemi Şikel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Antonio Cara but with some difficulty. Antonio Cara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrea Gambini went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Andrea Gambini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Cara was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Antonio Cara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Gambini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gianluca Pagliuca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Bertini in the 22nd minute of the match. Antonio Cara came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Porto Maurizio's Adriano Grasso. But to his dismay, Adriano Grasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. SOLO INTER's Antonio Cara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Di Santo in the 31st minute of play. Adriano Grasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Antonio Cara made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Porto Maurizio's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Fulgenzi came free, but Gianluca Pagliuca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Emiliano Bertini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gianluca Pagliuca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corrado Fulgenzi in the 38th minute of play. Gianluca Pagliuca came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by SOLO INTER's Corrado Fulgenzi. But to his dismay, Corrado Fulgenzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liu Ming Jian in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Cara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andrea Gambini struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Antonio Cara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porto Maurizio. Emiliano Bertini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gianluca Pagliuca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Antonio Cara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Gambini in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Andrea Gambini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Porto Maurizio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Andrea Gambini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind SOLO INTER's goalkeeper Antonio Cara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Emiliano Bertini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gianluca Pagliuca. Porto Maurizio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Bertini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Andrea Gambini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Cara having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Edoardo Di Santo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Antonio Cara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 75 minutes, Andrea Gambini made it 7-2 with a short kick to the right side. SOLO INTER's Antonio Cara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Porto Maurizio booed when SOLO INTER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beppe Frasca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Dave Di Maio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Porto Maurizio's Emiliano Gaudino took a good shot, in the 79th minute, which hit the crossbar above Antonio Cara's head, and flew over the goal. SOLO INTER's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Porto Maurizio. After a rather tough play, SOLO INTER's Beppe Frasca got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Liu Ming Jian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liu Ming Jian struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Antonio Cara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Franco Pietrangelo kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Emiliano Gaudino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Porto Maurizio had played much better football throughout.
