Gianluca Pagliuca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciccio Maranzano in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Porto Maurizio's Adriano Grasso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Addari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ferruccio Boldrini charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferruccio Boldrini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Porto Maurizio got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Boldrini. The throw-in from Franco Ramundo in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SEBRAHESTUR's Concetto Colaneri. A collision led to Porto Maurizio getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Vali Roşulescu hit a great ball. Gianluca Pagliuca acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Concetto Giacchetti. Dario Addari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Gambini in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Edoardo Di Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Addari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Porto Maurizio's Liu Ming Jian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dario Addari narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Dario Addari managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Porto Maurizio's Andrea Gambini fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dario Addari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Ming Jian in the 66th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Franco Ramundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
