Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Santa Marinella's Claudio Troilo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Camillo Genovese took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amos Lucentini. Amos Lucentini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8thth minute of the game Jaromír Čížek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Marinella's Amos Lucentini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th minute of the match Bagni got a corner. Santa Marinella's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arrigo Melone ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Jaromír Čížek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Camillo Genovese received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Amos Lucentini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Camillo Genovese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amos Lucentini came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Bagni's Camillo Genovese. But to his dismay, Camillo Genovese quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 22 minutes of play, Bagni's Jaromír Čížek made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amos Lucentini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bagni were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Santa Marinella's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arrigo Melone took the corner. After taking down the ball on Bagni's corner Abel Chenard fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Amos Lucentini quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaromír Čížek in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amos Lucentini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaromír Čížek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Jaromír Čížek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amos Lucentini was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 35th minute Bagni were awarded a corner. Arrigo Melone went to the cornerflag to take it. Arrigo Melone made a great header on Bagni's corner, it was just that Santa Marinella's Amos Lucentini managed to reach the ball for a save. When Demetrio De Angelis came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Santa Marinella fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demetrio De Angelis couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Camillo Genovese ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amos Lucentini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 41st minute, Camillo Genovese left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bagni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After a rather tough play, Bagni's Abel Chenard got a free kick in the 44th minute. Camillo Genovese struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Amos Lucentini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bagni. The Santa Marinella players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bagni were winning 0-5.

If Camillo Genovese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camillo Genovese recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Camillo Genovese notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Santa Marinella's Amos Lucentini. Amos Lucentini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Camillo Genovese might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amos Lucentini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Camillo Genovese ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute, Emanuele Cavanna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Jaromír Čížek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amos Lucentini. The goal made the score 0-7. Dino Gizzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amos Lucentini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Amos Lucentini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaromír Čížek went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Bagni made a substitution. Ksawery Pruss replaced Kandemir Onurad. Bagni's Frank Pagliuca was substituted for Jaromír Čížek. Camillo Genovese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amos Lucentini having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Marinella's zone, Camillo Genovese stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amos Lucentini came out of the goal and Camillo Genovese tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was Arrigo Melone who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Arrigo Melone almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santa Marinella's Amos Lucentini did a great save. After a rather tough play, Santa Marinella's Emanuele Cavanna got a free kick in the 88th minute. A hard shot by Arrigo Melone from long distance, 89 minutes into the match, got Amos Lucentini's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Frank Pagliuca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bagni's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Pagliuca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amos Lucentini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Camillo Genovese came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Bagni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camillo Genovese couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Bagni left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Santa Marinella.
