Bruno Melito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 29 minutes, Donato Pasqualone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. No cash for playing's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Pasqualone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Amos Lucentini managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when No cash for playing's Achille Giacomini fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Donato Pasqualone struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Amos Lucentini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for No cash for playing. Demetrio De Angelis might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Melito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Demetrio De Angelis ran back to his position shaking his head. Bruno Melito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Spada in the 38th minute of play. Bruno Melito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio De Angelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Attilio Cipolla's late challenge caught a Santa Marinella's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Attilio Cipolla helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute of the match Cristiano Rainaldi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Melito skillfully saved the ball. Federico Baciadonne hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. No cash for playing's Achille Giacomini was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 47th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Achille Giacomini made the kick off in the second half. Demetrio De Angelis kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Achille Giacomini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Achille Giacomini put it in 4-4 from a short distance just to the right of Amos Lucentini. 84 minutes into the game, Claudio Troilo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-5. Bruno Melito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Claudio Troilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anthony Bassani hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Santa Marinella played a much better game than No cash for playing and deserved their victory. The No cash for playing players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
