In the 10th minute, Augusto Crema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Biagio Chioda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlo Mingione was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Emilio Grassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Crema in the 16th minute of the match. Carlo Mingione made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Melfi in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Padula in the 25th minute of play forced Academy Sava's goalkeeper Carlo Mingione to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 27 minutes on the clock, Elia Fanfarone commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Academy Sava getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Elia Fanfarone hit a great ball. Rombiolo BR's Ernesto Rivera couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Academy Sava. Rombiolo BR's Emilio Grassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Rossi in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Francesco Melfi notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Academy Sava's Carlo Mingione. Carlo Mingione was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, Biagio Chioda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlo Mingione was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 45 minutes into the game, Biagio Chioda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Carlo Mingione was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Rombiolo BR were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Bianco Zoccolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Mingione showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biagio Chioda, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Biagio Chioda took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlo Mingione. Carlo Mingione dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Augusto Crema scored 1-6 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Grassi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Biagio Chioda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlo Mingione came out and tried to block the shot, but Biagio Chioda slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 64th minute. Rombiolo BR made a substitution. Fulvio Piccone replaced Aldo Padula. Francesco Melfi took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlo Mingione. Carlo Mingione dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. Carmine Saturno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Carlo Mingione made a huge save. Carlo Mingione took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Piccone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the game, Francesco Melfi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-9. Carlo Mingione was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 85 minutes of play, Rombiolo BR's Biagio Chioda made it 1-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlo Mingione was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Biagio Chioda got free with Carlo Mingione in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Academy Sava's Carlo Mingione got control of the ball when Francesco Melfi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlo Mingione made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Carmine Saturno sent off a good shot on target.
