When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Olov Holmberg put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Donovan Belli. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Anselmo Polito in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Real Pozzino's Alfonso Rigoni. In the 23rd minute, Olov Holmberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Donovan Belli. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 28th minute of the match Real Pozzino got a corner. L.R. Vicenza's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dennis Corvasce ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 30th match minute, L.R. Vicenza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Costantino to maneuver through the defense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olov Holmberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Nel in the 51st minute of play forced Real Pozzino's goalkeeper Donovan Belli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olov Holmberg in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donovan Belli saved Real Pozzino from getting behind. Cesare Boldrini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donovan Belli having to interfere. Donovan Belli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paşa Palla in the 59th minute of the match. Donovan Belli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Holmberg in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olov Holmberg in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donovan Belli saved Real Pozzino from getting behind. Amos Colagrossi made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Filippo Serra sent off a good shot on target. Donovan Belli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paşa Palla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donovan Belli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Holmberg in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Real Pozzino players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for L.R. Vicenza.
