An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Borgatello in the 12th minute of play forced AC Thebubba's goalkeeper Emilio Bordon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Bucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Pasquarelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AC Thebubba's attentive Achille Cavallucci managed to snatch the ball when Alexander Zollino made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Cosimo Pasquarelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Bucci was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Cosimo Pasquarelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Bucci was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After having played for 39 minutes, Biagio Campana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Thebubba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Biagio Campana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Cosimo Pasquarelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Thebubba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosimo Pasquarelli was the one to do the kick off. Alexander Zollino made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Enrico Borgatello. If Emanuele Valletta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosimo Pasquarelli struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Flavio Bucci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Thebubba. AC Thebubba's Achille Cavallucci shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Flavio Bucci but with some difficulty. Emilio Bordon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Borgatello in the 76th minute of play. Flavio Pacella made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Achille Tullo immediately put the ball in play.
