The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sannaville F.C.'s Flavio Bucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Berardini in the 7th minute of play. Flavio Bucci stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armin Berardini's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Tony Rosa scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Bucci, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Sannaville F.C. defense, Armin Berardini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Bucci. The Sannaville F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Bucci should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sannaville F.C.'s goalkeeper Flavio Bucci, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ferruccio Mercuri hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sannaville F.C.! Tony Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armin Berardini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Bucci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Armin Berardini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sannaville F.C.'s Flavio Bucci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 40 minutes, Armin Berardini made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Sannaville F.C.'s Flavio Bucci tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

San Mauro A Mare FC made a substitution. Fausto Bonanni replaced Armin Berardini. In the 52ndth minute of the game Fausto Bonanni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sannaville F.C.'s Flavio Bucci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Bonanni in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Bucci saved Sannaville F.C. from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Bonanni in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Bucci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Bonanni in the 57th minute of play forced Sannaville F.C.'s goalkeeper Flavio Bucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Bonanni in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Bucci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 60 played minutes Sannaville F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Zollino. San Mauro A Mare FC's Augusto Riso was substituted for Vasco Bento. Alexander Zollino kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Fausto Bonanni struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Flavio Bucci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Mauro A Mare FC. Fausto Bonanni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Flavio Bucci made a huge save. When San Mauro A Mare FC's Fausto Bonanni in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. San Mauro A Mare FC's Kaspar Bruns quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Flavio Pacella, made in the 85th minute of the game. When Fausto Bonanni came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the San Mauro A Mare FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Bonanni couldn't finish the play. Alfredo Magliocco hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Fausto Bonanni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Bucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Sannaville F.C.'s goalkeeper Flavio Bucci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Bonanni. The Sannaville F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. San Mauro A Mare FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
