Spectators: 8049 (Terracing: 6038, Seating: 1851, VIP seats: 160) Jorg Stercks made the kick off and thus started the match. Cristoforo Balestra made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by el che guevara's Alex Potenza. Beppe Sciarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Holmberg in the 8th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Olov Holmberg put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Beppe Sciarra. In the 14th match minute, L.R. Vicenza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paşa Palla to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, el che guevara's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Holmberg came free, but Beppe Sciarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Aristides Nel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Beppe Sciarra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 19th minute L.R. In the 21stth minute of the game Aristides Nel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but el che guevara's Beppe Sciarra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olov Holmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Sciarra having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Olov Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Sciarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beppe Sciarra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olov Holmberg's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Beppe Sciarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Holmberg in the 27th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Olov Holmberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but el che guevara's Beppe Sciarra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. L.R. Vicenza were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after el che guevara's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aristides Nel took the corner. Anselmo Polito was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Beppe Sciarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Nel, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. L.R. Vicenza's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aristides Nel in the 36th minute. The corner led L.R. Vicenza's Olov Holmberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Beppe Sciarra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee ignored el che guevara's protests and gave Alex Potenza a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of L.R. Vicenza booed when el che guevara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Potenza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, el che guevara's Jorg Stercks got a free kick in the 45th minute. If Olov Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olov Holmberg to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Olov Holmberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beppe Sciarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Holmberg in the 54th minute of play. L.R. Vicenza's Emilio Maurizi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorg Stercks in the 61st minute of play. Alex Potenza kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Beppe Sciarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Holmberg in the 71st minute of play. Olov Holmberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, el che guevara's goal looked a bit too open when Paşa Palla came free, but Beppe Sciarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paşa Palla in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beppe Sciarra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, el che guevara's Ernesto Santovito got a free kick in the 76th minute. Vicenza's Olov Holmberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
