Armando Polidori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, XMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Berardini came free, but Armando Polidori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Berardini in the 13th minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Armando Polidori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Mauro A Mare FC were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after XMAS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Attilio Di Renzo took the corner. Abel Gasparyan made a great header on San Mauro A Mare FC's corner, it was just that XMAS's Armando Polidori managed to reach the ball for a save. Armin Berardini spun around in front of the goal 16 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of XMAS's goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Berardini in the 18th minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Armando Polidori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogério Mitovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinando Morini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21stth minute of the game Armin Berardini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XMAS's Armando Polidori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tony Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tony Rosa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Armando Polidori when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tony Rosa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Armando Polidori when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Armin Berardini might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Polidori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armin Berardini ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armin Berardini got free with Armando Polidori in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute Armin Berardini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Polidori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armin Berardini's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Armando Polidori skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

XMAS's Concetto Marinucci was substituted for Christian Zaccardi. The wind increased when Tony Rosa made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Armin Berardini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XMAS's Armando Polidori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. San Mauro A Mare FC's Dinu Dobre suffered a torn muscle in his knee after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. San Mauro A Mare FC made a substitution. Concetto Tesone replaced Dinu Dobre. 55 minutes into the match, XMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Berardini came free, but Armando Polidori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Polidori had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Abel Gasparyan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Abel Gasparyan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Polidori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armin Berardini's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After 62 played minutes XMAS got a freekick which was hit by Florian Moreschi. San Mauro A Mare FC made a substitution. Serafo Tome replaced Tony Rosa. The supporters of San Mauro A Mare FC booed when XMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Moreschi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serafo Tome in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Polidori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 65 minutes, Serafo Tome made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. XMAS's Armando Polidori tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Armin Berardini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Polidori having to make a save. In the 69th minute Armin Berardini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Polidori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Armin Berardini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Polidori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Berardini in the 75th minute of play. Armando Polidori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafo Tome in the 77th minute of the match. After 78th play minutes Serafo Tome shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Armando Polidori and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in XMAS's zone, Armin Berardini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Polidori came out of the goal and Armin Berardini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armin Berardini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86thth minute of the game Armin Berardini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XMAS's Armando Polidori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute, Armin Berardini made a precise shot to the right of Armando Polidori. XMAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Armin Berardini managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Mauro A Mare FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Armin Berardini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
