The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Armin Tedeschi kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Cesare Mozzoni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paşa Palla's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Cesare Mozzoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Holmberg in the 12th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olov Holmberg in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesare Mozzoni saved Castellazzo from getting behind. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Olov Holmberg sped through Castellazzo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cesare Mozzoni. Aristides Nel took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesare Mozzoni. Cesare Mozzoni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Cesare Mozzoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Holmberg in the 20th minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, L.R. Vicenza's Aristides Nel made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesare Mozzoni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cesare Boldrini scored 5-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cesare Mozzoni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30thth minute of the game Paşa Palla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castellazzo's Cesare Mozzoni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match, Aristides Nel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cesare Mozzoni saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cesare Mozzoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Nel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armin Tedeschi hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Aristides Nel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesare Mozzoni having to interfere. In the 41st minute Aristides Nel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Mozzoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesare Mozzoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Boldrini in the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabrizio Fontana made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Cesare Boldrini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The L.R. Vicenza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After 57 minutes, Cesare Boldrini mouthed his way into the referee's book. Emilio Maurizi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Petricca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
