Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 100) When Alessandro Bosco came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Sativa Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Bosco couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Oroni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anfilogino Rapone in the 4th minute of the match. Comunardo Buccella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iban Vallejo's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. When Iban Vallejo came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Virgiliana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iban Vallejo couldn't finish the play. After 10 minutes, Antonio Prato mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sativa Team and the Virgiliana players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sativa Team getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Antonio Prato hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Sativa Team's goalkeeper Comunardo Buccella had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iban Vallejo. 14 minutes into the match, Iban Vallejo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sativa Team's Comunardo Buccella. Comunardo Buccella was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Virgiliana's Ernesto Oroni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Rapone in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Sativa Team's goalkeeper Comunardo Buccella had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iban Vallejo. Comunardo Buccella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Araoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sativa Team's Comunardo Buccella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iban Vallejo in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Rapone in the 31st minute of play forced Virgiliana's goalkeeper Ernesto Oroni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Comunardo Buccella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iban Vallejo in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Bianco Coscarella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beppe Pellicciotta came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Comunardo Buccella could save by the left post. With a little luck, Sativa Team's Comunardo Buccella got control of the ball when Iban Vallejo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alessandro Bosco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Virgiliana's Iban Vallejo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Comunardo Buccella. Comunardo Buccella yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anfilogino Rapone in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Oroni saved Virgiliana from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Bosco in the 58th minute of play forced Virgiliana's goalkeeper Ernesto Oroni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Oroni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anfilogino Rapone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Virgiliana's zone, Biagio Lauria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Oroni came out of the goal and Biagio Lauria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Sativa Team booed when Virgiliana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Araoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Jesus Araoz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Comunardo Buccella. Sativa Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jesus Araoz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Iban Vallejo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Comunardo Buccella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Virgiliana. Antonio Prato was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Antonio Prato kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Sativa Team's goal looked a bit too open when Iban Vallejo came free, but Comunardo Buccella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75thth minute of the game Iban Vallejo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sativa Team's Comunardo Buccella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute Iban Vallejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Buccella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Iban Vallejo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sativa Team's Comunardo Buccella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Comunardo Buccella came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Virgiliana's Iban Vallejo. But to his dismay, Iban Vallejo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biagio Lauria in the 95th minute of play forced Virgiliana's goalkeeper Ernesto Oroni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgiliana were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sativa Team for a fine match.
