Franco Placidi kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Atletico Roma's goalkeeper Alberto Santovito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Ascencio. Gonzalo Sabin came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alberto Santovito could save by the left post. In the 14th minute, Amerigo Loreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Sabin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Santovito. Atletico Roma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzalo Sabin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Alvaro Di Giandomenico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calderino FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Di Giandomenico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Santovito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Clemente Ascencio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alberto Santovito. That made the score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amerigo Loreto in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armin Giacomozzi saved Calderino FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Loreto in the 27th minute of play forced Calderino FC's goalkeeper Armin Giacomozzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Atletico Roma got a freekick which was hit by Franco Placidi. The supporters of Atletico Roma booed when Calderino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lóránd Sárkány didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Clemente Ascencio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Alberto Santovito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armin Giacomozzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Barreiro in the 39th minute of play. Marcin Kilarski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alberto Santovito came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcin Kilarski slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 41st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Calderino FC's Gonzalo Sabin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alberto Santovito. That made the score 6-1 after 44 minutes of play. In the 48th minute, Calderino FC's Clemente Ascencio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alberto Santovito. Alberto Santovito yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-1. Atletico Roma made a substitution. Achille Palma replaced Beppe Di Cintio. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonzalo Sabin was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Sabin notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Atletico Roma's Alberto Santovito. Alberto Santovito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alberto Santovito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Sabin, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute Marcin Kilarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Santovito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Barreiro got free with Armin Giacomozzi in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Sabin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-1. Alberto Santovito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atletico Roma made a substitution. Ciro Rosini replaced Donato Di Giandomenico. Atletico Roma made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Ascencio in the 80th minute of play forced Atletico Roma's goalkeeper Alberto Santovito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Atletico Roma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Santovito should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Calderino FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
