The referee showed Anfilogino Rapone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alessandro Bosco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Felice Di Toro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comunardo Buccella didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonello Corleone went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 17th minute Gert Jan Knopper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Buccella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gert Jan Knopper took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Comunardo Buccella. Comunardo Buccella dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Gert Jan Knopper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 minutes, Gert Jan Knopper made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Sativa Team's Comunardo Buccella tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sativa Team's Comunardo Buccella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Rossetti in the 30th minute of play. If Antonello Corleone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Antonello Corleone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gert Jan Knopper came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the fuegos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gert Jan Knopper couldn't finish the play. Antonello Corleone struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Comunardo Buccella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for fuegos. 43 minutes into the match, Sativa Team's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Jan Knopper came free, but Comunardo Buccella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

fuegos's Damiano Bottega was substituted for Demetrio Munno. Sativa Team's Comunardo Buccella proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Sativa Team from getting a goal against them. Antonello Corleone did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Comunardo Buccella 57 minutes into the match. In the 60th match minute, fuegos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonello Corleone to maneuver through the defense. If Gert Jan Knopper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonello Corleone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Comunardo Buccella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comunardo Buccella had great luck who in the 67thth minute grab hold of the ball when Antonello Corleone from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 69th minute of the match fuegos got a corner. Sativa Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ennio Rossetti ran over to the corner to take the kick. fuegos's Ennio Rossetti was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Comunardo Buccella in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Antonello Corleone took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Comunardo Buccella to make any attempt to save it. Gert Jan Knopper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Comunardo Buccella made a huge save. In the 76th minute, Gert Jan Knopper ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Comunardo Buccella was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Gert Jan Knopper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Comunardo Buccella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Antonello Corleone took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Comunardo Buccella to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Sativa Team's Anfilogino Rapone got a free kick in the 90th minute. Aldo Costacurta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Buccella having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Gert Jan Knopper had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Comunardo Buccella. Sativa Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gert Jan Knopper was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. When the match was over fuegos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sativa Team throughout the match.
