After a rather tough play, Angolo del Calcio's Ivan Cresconio got a free kick in the 25th minute. Edmondo Gori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Ronconi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Basaldella AFC's zone, Bruno Marinucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bianco Doris came out of the goal and Bruno Marinucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Angolo del Calcio defense, Federico Alessandro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmondo Gori. The Angolo del Calcio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmondo Gori should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
