Spectators: 8011 (Terracing: 6009, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Davide Bertolini took the kick off in the first half of the match. With his leg Franco Catucci managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Vigarano Pieve AFC's Ernesto Rivera fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Elia De Lucia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nedo Nadi in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, San Nicolò Kings's Antonello Casale got a free kick in the 12th minute. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Ernesto Rivera took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Franco Catucci to make any attempt to save it. Enzo Mantini charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enzo Mantini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Davide Bertolini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia De Lucia having to interfere. Ernesto Rivera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franco Catucci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Davide Bertolini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Nicolò Kings fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the last second Franco Catucci throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ernesto Rivera in the 38thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The corner went over the outstretched arms of San Nicolò Kings's goalie and right to Alfredo Di Fonzo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. San Nicolò Kings's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Franco Catucci made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Ernesto Rivera sent off a good shot on target. Franco Catucci stood somewhat misplaced when Ernesto Rivera came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 46 minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernesto Rivera to make the kick off. In the 60th play minute Nedo Nadi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Elia De Lucia. 2-2. In the 63rd minute Ernesto Rivera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Catucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vigarano Pieve AFC were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after San Nicolò Kings's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Enzo Mantini took the corner. San Nicolò Kings's Davide Bertolini got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nedo Nadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Vigarano Pieve AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Alfredo Ciarrocchi hit a great ball. Alvise Polo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Elia De Lucia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Bertolini, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Vigarano Pieve AFC's Elia De Lucia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Vigarano Pieve AFC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Rivera in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Catucci prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
