Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, SSC Napoli's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Galli came free, but Alberigo Iezzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SSC Napoli's Alberigo Iezzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Galli in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Galli in the 26th minute of play forced SSC Napoli's goalkeeper Alberigo Iezzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes GliSfigati got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Federici. 33 minutes into the match, SSC Napoli's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Galli came free, but Alberigo Iezzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fortunato Gervasi kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of GliSfigati booed when SSC Napoli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Campitelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberigo Iezzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Galli in the 37th minute of play. SSC Napoli's Alberigo Iezzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Galli in the 41st minute of play. Alberigo Iezzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domenico Galli's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Fedele Franzioni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but David Ospina made a huge save. After the first half GliSfigati were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

During the 50th minute of the match Eugenio Campitelli completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eugenio Campitelli a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Eugenio Campitelli hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Fortunato Gervasi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 60 played minutes GliSfigati got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Chioda. Domenico Galli in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alberigo Iezzi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano Colella in the 66th minute of play forced SSC Napoli's goalkeeper Alberigo Iezzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 minutes SSC Napoli's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pablo Gersten who took care of the corner kick. The corner led GliSfigati's Domenico Galli to a score. 0-3 in the 68th minute. After 70 played minutes SSC Napoli got a freekick which was hit by Fedele Franzioni. 72 minutes into the match, Damiano Colella notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of SSC Napoli's Alberigo Iezzi. Alberigo Iezzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SSC Napoli's Alberigo Iezzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save SSC Napoli from getting a goal against them. When Alexander Milani fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GliSfigati's protests and gave Alexander Milani a yellow card for diving instead. Domenico Galli might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberigo Iezzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domenico Galli ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberigo Iezzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Galli, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the match was over GliSfigati could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SSC Napoli throughout the match.
