After a rather tough play, Alessandria AFC's Fabio Cannavaro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Alessandria AFC's Ziemowit Sebzda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Campitelli in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Giovanni Lovera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Alberigo Iezzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fedele Franzioni kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Ennio Piccone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberigo Iezzi.
