Ennio Gervasi might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elazar Nunez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ennio Gervasi ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennio Gervasi in the 10th minute of play forced Football Club Lucania's goalkeeper Elazar Nunez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th match minute, Cimone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Valdevielso to maneuver through the defense. Football Club Lucania's Elazar Nunez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Gervasi in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Ennio Gervasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elazar Nunez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elazar Nunez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenico Tatangelo in the 23rd minute of the match. If Ennio Gervasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ennio Gervasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elazar Nunez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Valdevielso in the 37th minute of the match. Elazar Nunez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Valdevielso's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ennio Gervasi to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Cimone's Ennio Gervasi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elazar Nunez. That made the score 1-1 after 59 minutes of play. Beppe Lelli hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennio Gervasi in the 67th minute of play forced Football Club Lucania's goalkeeper Elazar Nunez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Ennio Gervasi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elazar Nunez. Elazar Nunez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Carmine Di Rocco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kleon Laskos, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. A collision led to Football Club Lucania getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Dario Cacciatore hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Cimone's Ennio Gervasi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elazar Nunez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 94 minutes, Damian Valdevielso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cimone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Valdevielso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elazar Nunez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ennio Gervasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cimone played a much better game than Football Club Lucania and deserved their victory. The Football Club Lucania players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
