Novara AFC GOOOOOAL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dario Uguccioni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 12 minutes into the game, Attilio Sanna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Anselmo Di Mario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anselmo Di Mario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio Sanna, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Vandalino's Attilio Sanna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Di Mario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anselmo Di Mario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The audience was convinced that Dario Uguccioni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anselmo Di Mario was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Piermattei in the 34th minute of play forced Novara AFC GOOOOOAL's goalkeeper Anselmo Di Mario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Di Mario was a little too slow when Ferruccio Terrasi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-14. After 91 minutes of play, Vandalino's Attilio Sanna made it 0-15 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anselmo Di Mario was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anselmo Di Mario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio Terrasi in the 94th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Vandalino's Amos Melone ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anselmo Di Mario. Anselmo Di Mario yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-16. Vandalino's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
