Reggina Calcio's Ercole Serantoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Urbani in the 36th minute of play. Reggina Calcio's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Edoardo Meo scored to the left of an out of position Ercole Serantoni, making the score, 0-9. In the 73rd minute, Edoardo Meo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ercole Serantoni. The goal made the score 0-10. In the 99th minute, Antonello Tarantini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sorci Viola's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
