But to his dismay, Elia Zollino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Diego Kimetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Pelliccioni in the 10th minute of play. Diego Kimetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Pelliccioni in the 12th minute of the match. A hard shot 14 in the game by Augusto Parente from a close distance when the talented Fulvio Tondi managed to make a qualified save. Castelnuovo's players were relieved. Augusto Parente who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Fulvio Tondi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Diego Kimetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedele Pelliccioni, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Fabrizio Placidi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castelnuovo's Fulvio Tondi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Piretti in the 24th minute of play forced Real Aquino's goalkeeper Diego Kimetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulvio Tondi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Augusto Parente showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. Diego Kimetz came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Castelnuovo's Fedele Pelliccioni. But to his dismay, Fedele Pelliccioni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to Castelnuovo getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Corrado Perna hit a great ball. In the 38th minute of the match Filippo Corvo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diego Kimetz skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciccio Serra during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 minutes of play, Castelnuovo's Fedele Pelliccioni made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Kimetz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diego Kimetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Ciraci in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Augusto Parente made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Castelnuovo's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Parente came free, but Fulvio Tondi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Castelnuovo's Diego Kimetz threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fedele Pelliccioni, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 58th minute of the match, Fabiano Piretti got a very nice opportunity to score, but Diego Kimetz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Armando Ciraci came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Diego Kimetz could save by the left post. After 64 minutes, Adriano Simeoni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Aquino and the Castelnuovo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adriano Simeoni hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. If Fabrizio Placidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulvio Tondi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Real Aquino's Augusto Parente shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-3 in the ordered_time% minute. During the 77th minute of the match Adriano Simeoni completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adriano Simeoni a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 78th match minute, Real Aquino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Simeoni to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Pelliccioni in the 80th minute of play forced Real Aquino's goalkeeper Diego Kimetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabrizio Placidi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulvio Tondi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Fedele Pelliccioni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castelnuovo's supporters rose to their feet, but Fedele Pelliccioni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Kimetz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fabrizio Placidi came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Real Aquino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrizio Placidi couldn't finish the play.
