Cesare Loreto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Armin Di Vito came out and tried to block the shot, but Cesare Loreto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 2nd minute. After a rather tough play, ASLaNegrelli's Carmine Toccaceli got a free kick in the 5th minute. Armin Di Vito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvise Urbani in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Loreto in the 11th minute of play forced ASLaNegrelli's goalkeeper Armin Di Vito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the ASLaNegrelli defense, Alvise Urbani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armin Di Vito. The ASLaNegrelli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armin Di Vito should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, ASLaNegrelli's Armin Di Vito got control of the ball when Alvise Urbani tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sorci Viola's Cesare Loreto got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 31 minutes into the match, Dennis Bucciarelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Bonelli. Sorci Viola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dennis Bucciarelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Damiano Bosco came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the ASLaNegrelli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damiano Bosco couldn't finish the play. After having played for 35 minutes, Dennis Bucciarelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASLaNegrelli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Bucciarelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edoardo Meo got free with Armin Di Vito in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, ASLaNegrelli's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Loreto came free, but Armin Di Vito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dennis Bucciarelli to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sorci Viola booed when ASLaNegrelli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Gismondi didn't get a good kick on the ball. ASLaNegrelli's Armin Di Vito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Urbani in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis Bucciarelli in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Bonelli saved Sorci Viola from getting behind. In the 60th minute Cesare Loreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armin Di Vito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dennis Bucciarelli got free with Armando Bonelli in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armin Di Vito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise Urbani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlo De Luca hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Sorci Viola from getting a goal against them. After 80 minutes, Juan Pablo Sorin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ASLaNegrelli and the Sorci Viola players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute Sorci Viola were awarded a corner. Carlo De Luca went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ASLaNegrelli's goalie and right to Alvise Urbani. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ASLaNegrelli's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Carlo De Luca made in the 90th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Antonio Martano however managed to control. Armin Di Vito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesare Loreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sorci Viola had played much better football throughout.
