Emiliano Piola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabrizio Renzetti having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Piola in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrizio Renzetti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabrizio Renzetti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiliano Piola's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 15th match minute, Zurlo Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Riccitelli to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Emiliano Piola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabrizio Renzetti. Zurlo Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Piola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Piola in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrizio Renzetti saved Zurlo Team from getting behind. Zurlo Team's Fabrizio Renzetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Melis in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Emiliano Piola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Renzetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alessandro Melis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the game, Pra Mezzan's Emiliano Piola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabrizio Renzetti came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Pra Mezzan's Emiliano Piola. But to his dismay, Emiliano Piola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 37th minute, Emiliano Piola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pra Mezzan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Fabrizio Renzetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Formica, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 42 minutes, Ferdinando Zulli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zurlo Team and the Pra Mezzan players grew even worse after the yellow card. 44 minutes into the match, Emiliano Piola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabrizio Renzetti. In the 48th minute Dennis Formica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Renzetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shantala Villamediana was the one to do the kick off. Felice Antenucci hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Baladi Gonzalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Bruno Di Cristofaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Zurlo Team's zone, Alessandro Melis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrizio Renzetti came out of the goal and Alessandro Melis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Pra Mezzan booed when Zurlo Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Riccitelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Pra Mezzan's Dennis Formica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabrizio Renzetti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Emiliano Piola sped through Zurlo Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabrizio Renzetti. Ferdinando Zulli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Di Cristofaro having to interfere. When Shantala Villamediana fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zurlo Team's protests and gave Shantala Villamediana a yellow card for diving instead. Shantala Villamediana kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Fabrizio Renzetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Melis in the 72nd minute of play. Dennis Formica's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Fabrizio Renzetti skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Emiliano Piola in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabrizio Renzetti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dennis Formica struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Fabrizio Renzetti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pra Mezzan. After 90 minutes of play Zurlo Team's Ferdinando Zulli was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 90th minute, Ferdinando Zulli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Piola's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Fabrizio Renzetti skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 93rd minute, Baladi Gonzalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Emiliano Piola put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Fabrizio Renzetti.
