Spectators: 7886 (Terracing: 5915, Seating: 1814, VIP seats: 157) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arrigo Coccolone started the match with the kick off. When Arrigo Coccolone came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Goalie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arrigo Coccolone couldn't finish the play. Frank Forte was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Goalie's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Comunardo De Marchi in the 11th minute of play forced Goalie's goalkeeper Florian Di Falco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Ercole Ferraresi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florian Di Falco. Goalie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ercole Ferraresi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Florian Di Falco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercole Ferraresi in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Di Bartolo in the 23rd minute of play forced Goalie's goalkeeper Florian Di Falco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Goalie defense, Arrigo Di Bartolo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florian Di Falco. The Goalie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florian Di Falco should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Comunardo De Marchi in the 27th minute of play forced Goalie's goalkeeper Florian Di Falco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Papa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Florian Di Falco. Goalie's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Florian Di Falco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Travaglini in the 30th minute of play. Arrigo Di Bartolo scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florian Di Falco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Goalie's Florian Di Falco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comunardo De Marchi in the 37th minute of play. If Comunardo De Marchi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Ercole Ferraresi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Di Falco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Goalie getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Carmine Riccitelli hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Comunardo De Marchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Di Falco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Comunardo De Marchi to make the kick off. Sorbo's Ercole Ferraresi got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Sorbo's Dino Travaglini slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florian Di Falco. That made the score 0-4 after 57 minutes of play. Florian Di Falco was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Dino Travaglini capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dino Travaglini really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Comunardo De Marchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Comunardo De Marchi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Florian Di Falco. The goal made the score 0-6. Florian Di Falco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Comunardo De Marchi in the 72nd minute of play. Goalie's Florian Di Falco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Goalie from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the game, Comunardo De Marchi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Florian Di Falco. Comunardo De Marchi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Sorbo's Comunardo De Marchi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florian Di Falco. That made the score 0-8 after 86 minutes of play. Comunardo De Marchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Comunardo De Marchi took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Florian Di Falco to make any attempt to save it. Sorbo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
