With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmine Iannone in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demetrio Di Michele saved Road Runner Team from getting behind. Demetrio Di Michele stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmine Iannone's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Carmine Iannone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Molfetta sportiva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmine Iannone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Diego Pasquale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Road Runner Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Molfetta sportiva the free kick. After a rather tough play, Road Runner Team's Diego Pasquale got a free kick in the 14th minute. Molfetta sportiva's Carmine Iannone got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Cesare Di Renzo put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Demetrio Di Michele. In the 23rd match minute, Road Runner Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Borromeo to maneuver through the defense. Molfetta sportiva's Domenico Campo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Demetrio Di Michele but with some difficulty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Cerasoli in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Lavatrice prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Demetrio Di Michele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Di Renzo in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Dario Borromeo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 37thth minute of the game Armando Cerasoli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Molfetta sportiva's Flavio Lavatrice was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, Armando Cerasoli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Carmine Iannone fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesare Di Renzo to make the kick off. Carmine Iannone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the game, Cesare Di Renzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Demetrio Di Michele was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Road Runner Team's Demetrio Di Michele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Iannone in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Road Runner Team's zone, Cesare Di Renzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demetrio Di Michele came out of the goal and Cesare Di Renzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ni Liang Yong might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demetrio Di Michele. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ni Liang Yong ran back to his position shaking his head. After 65 minutes of play, Molfetta sportiva's Carmine Iannone made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demetrio Di Michele was left in no man's land by his defense there! Demetrio Di Michele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Melani in the 69th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Carmine Iannone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0.
