When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Ettore Brunetta took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Flavio Corvasce to make any attempt to save it. Flavio Corvasce was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Lennart Härm capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lennart Härm really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 11th play minutes Dobromir Adamowicz shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Flavio Corvasce and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Carloforte f.c.'s Ciro Donati got a free kick in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmondo Firmani in the 15th minute of play forced Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Waclaw Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marsignano FC's Flavio Corvasce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobromir Adamowicz in the 17th minute of play. Arrigo Guidoni hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Marsignano FC's Dario Farina got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Lennart Härm took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Flavio Corvasce to make any attempt to save it. Flavio Corvasce didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 5-0. In the 35th match minute, Marsignano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Pavlu to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Corvasce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Adamowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marsignano FC's Flavio Corvasce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Marsignano FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Härm in the 45th minute of play forced Marsignano FC's goalkeeper Flavio Corvasce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennart Härms short, quick shot in the 49thth minute got Flavio Corvasce to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Ramoser stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dobromir Adamowicz scored 6-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Corvasce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emiliano Pavlu charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiliano Pavlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Marsignano FC got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Pavlu. Marsignano FC's Flavio Corvasce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Brunetta in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Marsignano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Brunetta came free, but Flavio Corvasce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Corvasce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobromir Adamowicz in the 66th minute of the match. After 68 minutes, Antonio Montanari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marsignano FC and the Carloforte f.c. players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lennart Härm in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Corvasce saved Marsignano FC from getting behind. 87 minutes into the game, Carloforte f.c.'s Lennart Härm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Corvasce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Flavio Corvasce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobromir Adamowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Lennart Härm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carloforte f.c.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Lennart Härm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
