Davide Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlo Improta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabiano Zisser during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to C.C. Ortigia Siracusa getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Fabiano Zisser hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Davide Negri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.C. Ortigia Siracusa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Dănănae during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ortigia Siracusa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Davide Negri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Concetto Di Salvatore made a huge save. Concetto Di Salvatore was a little too slow when Davide Negri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C.C. Ortigia Siracusa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
