Axa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amerigo Pugliese was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The shot was stopped by Bonifaco Ocaña but with some difficulty. Alvaro Cara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bonifaco Ocaña came out and tried to block the shot, but Alvaro Cara slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded ternana calcio fc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Axa.
