The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristiano Di Paola hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Emanuele Bertoni struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Carter Martelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gonzo Style f.c. In the 6th minute, Francesco Muzzolon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the game, Enrico Tassotti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Carter Martelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enrico Tassotti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carter Martelli having to make a save. In the 23rd minute, one of Winning Eleven:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Winning Eleven. The audience was convinced that Enrico Tassotti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carter Martelli was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Winning Eleven's Filippo Carozza got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Cesare Di Loreto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Winning Eleven's Carter Martelli didn't even have to move. Carter Martelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrico Tassotti went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Carter Martelli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 53rd minute Gonzo Style f.c were awarded a corner. Cesare Di Loreto went to the cornerflag to take it. Gonzo Style f.c's Cesare Di Loreto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carter Martelli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 55th match minute, Winning Eleven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carter Di Giandomenico to maneuver through the defense. Carter Martelli made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Enrico Tassotti sent off a good shot on target. Carter Martelli came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Gonzo Style f.c's Enrico Tassotti. But to his dismay, Enrico Tassotti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Emanuele Bertoni sped through Winning Eleven's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carter Martelli. A collision led to Winning Eleven getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Cristiano Di Paola hit a great ball. Enrico Tassotti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Carter Martelli made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Winning Eleven's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Tassotti came free, but Carter Martelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuele Bertoni scored 0-9 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carter Martelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Winning Eleven getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Donato Arcangeli hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Emanuele Bertoni fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Carter Martelli, passed just outside the right post. If Enrico Tassotti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrico Tassotti's late challenge caught a Winning Eleven's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrico Tassotti helped the player get up and apologised. Enrico Tassotti hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of Gonzo Style f.c booed when Winning Eleven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Arcangeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Winning Eleven defense, Emanuele Bertoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carter Martelli. The Winning Eleven fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carter Martelli should have stopped the shot. In the 94th match minute, Gonzo Style f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Staniscia to maneuver through the defense. Francesco Muzzolon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lucas Savenije tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
