In the 6th minute Davide Cavaliere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro De Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Davide Petito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Schirru was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Ennio Del Duca's late challenge caught a Apocalypto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ennio Del Duca helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes Conscenti got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Del Duca. 11 minutes into the match, Conscenti's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Paulista came free, but Alessandro De Francesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Munno kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Conscenti fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Apocalypto a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Davide Cavaliere, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Conscenti's Alessandro De Francesco. 0-2. After 19 minutes, Ferdinando Granati mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conscenti and the Apocalypto players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Apocalypto booed when Conscenti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinando Granati didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st match minute, Apocalypto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco Baruffa to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Apocalypto's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Primavera came free, but Eugenio Schirru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Eugenio Schirru successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alessandro De Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Paulista in the 37th minute of play. Alessandro De Francesco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Munno, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Cavaliere in the 40th minute of play forced Conscenti's goalkeeper Alessandro De Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessio Primavera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Schirru having to interfere. Eugenio Schirru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bianco Maurizi in the 44th minute of the match. Alessio Primavera charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alessio Primavera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alessio Primavera hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Chico Paulista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Tellini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 66 minutes into the game, Bianco Maurizi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Conscenti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apocalypto the free kick. In the 66th minute, Bianco Maurizi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Conscenti's zone, Arturo Munno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro De Francesco came out of the goal and Arturo Munno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugenio Schirru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Primavera, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Chico Paulista hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Alessio Primavera took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Schirru. Eugenio Schirru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Apocalypto's Eugenio Schirru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Tellini in the 80th minute of play. After 83 played minutes Chico Paulista rounded Conscenti's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. Alessio Primavera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Apocalypto's Chico Paulista slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alessandro De Francesco. That made the score 2-5 after 93 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Paulista in the 96th minute of play forced Conscenti's goalkeeper Alessandro De Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Apocalypto players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
